Kevin Coleman is President & CEO of Coleman Entertainment
Kevin is also a director and producer having graduated with a masters from the prestigious Directing program at the American Film Institute in 2005 (www.AFI.com).
Kevin is also a Visiting Assistant Professor of Media Arts at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, (UMKC)\ and is an Adjunct Professor at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park.
Kevin has won several awards for his 2005 short film SNAPSHOT among them being the best student film at the 2006 Hollywood Black Film Festival. Kevin is in pre-production on several music videos and another short film currently titled Elon Settles.
Derrick Phillips is Vice-President of Coleman Entertainment.
Derrick is also a producer and editor. “We have many stories to turn into films that deal with the human will and forces greater than the human will, both comical and serious. We think our approach is different and needed and if we were the same as any other filmmaking company we would not be needed.”
Derrick was an Avid editor instructor at SLCC-FP. He champions department chairperson Kathy Dunlop as “someone who believed in me before I believed in myself.”
Derrick has co-produced several music videos and short films.
